About the challenge
We are so excited to announce our very first week-long website redesign challenge, and our partner non-profit Help Homeless Inc! The Design Sprint will be mostly virtual, from Friday, 3/22 to Saturday 3/30 (except for an in-person closing ceremony on Sunday 3/31 since there will be food, drinks, and prizes!).
Participants will be able to practice and gain web design skills by redesigning the Help Homeless Inc website over the course of a week. Groups of 1 - 4 people are allowed, and there will be virtual workshops throughout the design sprint as well. Although there is no in-person workshops or dedicated workspaces, feel free to meet up with your team in-person at any point to collaborate!
The winning team will receive a $200 cash prize, as well as additional prizes for category winners!!
Open to all WashU students and all skill levels. Beginners are highly encouraged to participate as there will be several design workshops and feedback.
